PROCAF – PROFILE
Rwenzori Pro-life and Child care Foundation was started in 2010 and registered as a community based organization with Kabarole District. PROCAF is located in Fort portal Kabundaire opposite Mountains of the Moon University. The primary goal of this organization is to promote and protect the rights of children and improve their wellbeing. Furthermore, to strengthen families so that they create a healthy and safe environment for children.

OUR PRO-LIFE WORK:
PROCAF a pro-life and child protection organization was started with an objective of raising awareness to families, the youth on the danger of abortion and contraceptives. Also to create awareness to communities on alternatives to contraceptives according to the catholic teaching / use of natural family planning and how effective the method is to space births.
Our pro-life message is blended with child protection, and family strengthening.
Our wish is to keepUganda abortionfree through our campaigns on radios, visits to schools, churches, and the annual prolife walk.
We also offer psychosocial to the poor by giving them school fees, clothes which we collect locally, others we take them to the hospital.
Our other major pro-life activity is the rescue of girls with crisis pregnancies, counseling them, their parents, boyfriends.
We train couples in natural family planning to help them have an alternative to modern contraceptives.
We run a marriage clinic which sits every first and last Sunday of the month to strengthen families with an aim of creating a safe environment for children.
Our pro-life office is open every day Monday to Saturday.
As a way to fundraise for and sustain our work, we engage in consultancy work with different organizations; i.e conducting in house capacity building for staff to increase their productivity and retention of both staff and clients at a low costs.
